Tree House Tranquil-A-Tree Romantic Escape

We loved our two night stay at the Treehouse Tranquil-a-Tree! This little cabin is one of a handful of buildings on their large property, but well spaced out so it truly felt private. It had all the necessities, and was clean and cozy. The wood stove works very well and there was plenty of wood in the shed! It is remote (30 minutes outside of White Salmon), and we were greeted by a few inches of snow on the road as we drove up. Just check the weather before you go and make sure you are prepared! We also didn't realize there was no Wi-Fi, but this was a welcome surprise and allowed us to really sink in and enjoy each others company.<br/>Close enough to White Salmon that it was easy to drive into town for an afternoon or dinner. White Salmon surprised us, what a cute town!<br/>While on a walk on the property, we ran into Roy. A very friendly guy and he gave us a tour of the yurt as well. We really enjoyed the hosts!<br/>Absolutely loved it, would love to go again!

Amazing place to take a weekend to relax and step away from things! We had a great time with our pup just playing games, reading, relaxing, and enjoying the hot tub.

Great place, very peaceful and cute

We enjoyed our stay at the tree house. There was an amazing view, very private, and cozy. The hot tub was very accessible and fun. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Hosts are friendly and responsive. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Loved loved LOVED this cabin! It was so cozy and it was great to get out of town and retreat to the woods for a couple of days. The Treehouse is nestled on a sprawling chunk of property just outside of White Salmon - which is a fantastic little town with a great antique/oddities shop. It’s evident this property was or is tended to by an artist, a lot of love and energy was put into the creation of all the structures on the property! While there are neighboring houses/rentals, the Treehouse is very private and truly has everything you need. We didn’t encounter another person during our entire stay and it was honestly just what we needed. I highly recommend!

I’ve been to a remote cabin or two and this one stood out to me for a few reasons. It’s very remote and has an off the grid feeling (though not isolated as there are more people living and working on the grounds). It’s a beautifully handmade work of art with lots of different types of wood, quirky angles and squeaky parts. And in spite of the previous two qualities it is very comfortable and has everything you need to cook, feel warm and dry, and entertain yourself for a few nights.

Exactly what we were hoping for. A quiet secluded little nook in the woods. Very cozy. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. We also spent several hours listening to the old radio drama mysteries on the cassette player. Wild throwback and so much fun. I would definitely recommend trying to arrive during daylight if you can. It was dark and raining heavily when we arrived and if it wasn’t for the very specific and helpful directions it would’ve been hard to find. <br/>All in all 10/10, would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at this sweet location. It was peaceful and quaint. It was exactly what we were looking for, as a couples getaway, close to lots of forest roads and things to explore. The hosts were very responsive to anything we needed and are lovely people. We can’t wait to come back.
